Dr. Atkinson is the clinical director of the Chiropractic Pain & Injury Center. Dr. Atkinson has extensive experience in caring for spinal related issues, which range from trauma related cases as a result of accidents and sports injuries to disc injuries cases. This accompanied with her comprehensive post-doctoral education allows her to treat both the simple and complicated cases. She firmly believes that educating a patient about their condition is paramount to the patient’s recovery, and she educates her patients on posture, biomechanics, and injury prevention.

Dr. Atkinson is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has been in practice for over 15 years. She has attained postdoctoral education in MRI spine interpretation, electrodiagnostic interpretation, triaging the injured, caring for the trauma patient, head trauma and brain injury, impairment rating and accident reconstruction. She is a Certified Medical Examiner, credentialed in MRI Spine Interpretation and Spinal Biomechanical Engineering. She also is a Certified Functional Medicine doctor, and is certified in the Graston Technique®, Posture Analysis, and as a Golf Injury Doctor.
